Is Throttle really free for sellers?
Yes. Individual sellers list free, permanently — no introductory period. Dealers onboard free too, and can send us a feed instead of being crawled.
Why charge for sold history?
Sold prices are the best signal of what something is worth, and producing them means crawling thousands of dealer sites politely, every day, forever, and proving a listing is gone rather than guessing. That is the expensive part.
How do you know something sold?
We do not take a dealer's word for it. A listing has to disappear from successful crawls for several consecutive days — longer for boats and aircraft — and the crawl has to look healthy before the absence counts. A blocked or empty crawl never marks anything sold.
Does lifetime really mean lifetime?
Pay $250 once and you have Throttle+ for as long as Throttle exists. If the product is ever sold, access transfers with it. Worst case you have paid about sixteen months' worth.
